These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.10thplanetlasvegas.com and any related landing pages (collectively, the "Site") operated by 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Las Vegas ("we," "us," "our"), as well as your participation in our free trial offers, classes, programs, and memberships. By using the Site or submitting any form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit your own information through our forms. If you are enrolling a minor (under 18) in any program, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and consent on the minor's behalf.
2. Free Class & Free Week Trial Offers
From time to time we offer promotional trials, including a free first class and limited "free week" trials. These offers are subject to the following:
- Free trial offers are available to new students only who have not previously trained at any 10th Planet Las Vegas location.
- Free trial offers are limited to one per person and may not be combined with other promotions.
- "Free week" trial means up to seven (7) consecutive days of access to scheduled trial classes from the date of your first class. Specific class eligibility (Kids, Adult Beginners, Adult Experienced) is determined by program suitability and instructor approval.
- Spots are limited, scheduled in advance, and not guaranteed for walk-ins.
- You must complete a liability waiver before stepping on the mat. Minors require a parent or guardian's signature.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any promotional offer at any time without notice.
- No purchase is required, no credit card is required to redeem a trial, and no contract is created by submitting a trial form.
3. Memberships, Billing & Cancellation
If you choose to become a member after your trial, the specific terms of your membership — including monthly rate, billing date, minimum term (if any), freeze policy, and cancellation policy — will be set out in your separate Membership Agreement signed at the time of enrollment. That Membership Agreement, together with these Terms, governs your membership.
Recurring memberships are billed monthly via the payment method on file. You authorize us to charge that payment method until you cancel in accordance with your Membership Agreement. Cancellations must be made in writing and may be subject to a notice period as described in your Membership Agreement.
4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling are physical contact sports that involve an inherent risk of injury, including but not limited to bruises, sprains, joint injuries, broken bones, concussions, and in rare cases more serious injuries. By participating in any class, trial, open mat, or event at any 10th Planet Las Vegas location, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks.
All participants must read, sign, and submit our liability waiver and assumption-of-risk agreement before training. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf. The waiver is a condition of participation and forms part of your agreement with us.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless 10th Planet Las Vegas, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liability arising out of your participation in our programs, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
5. Code of Conduct
To keep our gyms safe and welcoming, all students and visitors agree to:
- Treat instructors, training partners, staff, and other students with respect at all times
- Maintain personal hygiene and clean training attire
- Trim fingernails and toenails before class
- Follow instructor guidance during all drills, sparring, and warm-ups
- Refrain from training while under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Refrain from harassment, bullying, discrimination, or unwanted physical contact off the mat
- Tap early, tap often — and respect your training partner's tap immediately
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse service, remove from the premises, or terminate the membership of any person who violates this Code of Conduct or otherwise creates an unsafe or hostile environment.
6. Site Use & Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, the 10th Planet name and logo, and design elements — is the property of 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Las Vegas, its licensors, or its content suppliers, and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may view and share the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, sell, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, server, or related systems
- Interfere with the Site's operation, security, or other users' use of the Site
- Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, spiders) to access or collect information from the Site without our express written consent
7. Communications Consent
By submitting any form on the Site or signing up for our services, you consent to receive communications from us — including transactional messages (appointment confirmations, class reminders, billing notices) and marketing communications (special offers, events, schedule changes) — via email, SMS, phone, and other channels.

8. Third-Party Services & Links
The Site may include links to third-party services, such as our scheduling and CRM platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), social media platforms, mapping services, our retail partner Shop NoGi, and others. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of any third-party service. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
The Site and our programs are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
We make no guarantee that participation in our programs will produce any specific result, including weight loss, fitness improvements, competition success, or self-defense capability. Individual results vary based on effort, frequency, body type, prior experience, and other factors.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Las Vegas, its owners, instructors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your participation in any class or program, or these Terms — whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Site shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 10th Planet Las Vegas and its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your participation in any class or program; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please stop using the Site.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any Membership Agreement or liability waiver you sign, constitute the entire agreement between you and 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Las Vegas regarding your use of the Site and participation in our programs, and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
